On Friday, June 1, 2012, start the weekend out at the Schuetzenpark Biergarten, the last original outdoor German Biergarten in the Capital District at the German-American Club of Albany, 32 Cherry St., Albany. On Father’s Day, June 17, 2012, treat your Dad to an afternoon of honor at the Schuetzenpark Biergarten on the grounds of the German-American Club of Albany, 32 Cherry Street, Albany. Schuetzenpark is a large pine tree shaded grove and is the last outdoor Biergarten remaining in the Capital District. This month we feature live music from the Schwarzennegger Connection. The park opens at 1:00 PM. Entry is $3 per adult, children under 12 are free! Tasty German food and drink are available for purchase as well as domestic food and drink. Children’s activities include a parade. In the event of rain, the event will be moved indoors in our large banquet hall and barroom. For further information please call 518.265.6102 .
