On Father’s Day, June 20, 2010, 1-7 PM, treat Dad to an afternoon of fun at the Schuetzenpark Biergarten at the German-American Club of Albany, 32 Cherry Street. Schuetzenpark is a pine tree shaded grove that is the last outdoor Biergarten in the Capital District. Live music from the Schwarzennegger Connection. Entry is $3/adult, children under 12 are free! Tasty German and domestic food and drink available for purchase. Activities for children. In the event of rain, the event will be moved indoors to our banquet hall and bar. Park Clean-up scheduled for May 15th
Saturday May 15th the Club is having its annual park clean-up day from 8AM till around noon. We need to spruce up the grounds for our upcoming summer events. All that is needed is a few hours, a rake, and gloves. Stop by and give us a hand if you can. The more hands we have helping the easier the work will be. We will be serving a free hot lunch with soda and/or beer for all those who help. See you on the 15th.
