Schuetzenpark Biergarten Yearly Opening Party


On Friday June 4, 2010, enjoy yourself at the yearly opening party of the Schuetzenpark Biergarten on the grounds of the German-American Club of Albany, 32 Cherry Street. Schuetzenpark is the last original German Biergarten in the Capital District. The park opens at 4 PM for German drink and music. German food is available after 5 PM. Countdown to Bierfest

Bierfest is coming up quickly.  This Saturday, May 22.  Call 518.265.6102 for details!

Park Clean-up scheduled for May 15th

Saturday May 15th the Club is having its annual park clean-up day from 8AM till around noon.  We need to spruce up the grounds for our upcoming summer events.  All that is needed is a few hours, a rake, and gloves.  Stop by and give us a hand if you can.  The more hands we have helping the easier the work will be.  We will be serving a free hot lunch with soda and/or beer for all those who help.  See you on the 15th.

On Saturday May 22, 2010 enjoy an evening of German dinner and drink at our German Bierfest. All of our events are open to the public. Doors open at 5 PM. German Lagers, Pilsners, Bocks, and Hefeweizens will be available. Dinner served at 6 PM. Dinner choices are TBA at $20/plate. Salad and dessert included; with live music from Herb Liebenhagen. New Website

The German-American Club of Albany now has a new website.  The new address is http://www.germanamericanclubofalbany.com/ As of today the site is still under construction, but up and running.  Check it out!

BTW- aside from our monthly events, the club is open every Wednesday night from 7:30 PM till 11:00 PM.  Please remember we are open to the Public!

On Saturday April 17, 2010, get your German on at the German-American Club of Albany, 32 Cherry Street, Albany with our Schnitzelfest.  All of our events are open to the public.  This month we feature live music from the Mountain Brauhaus Band.  Doors open at 5 PM.  Dinner served at 6 PM.  Dinner choices are Jaeger schnitzel (pork) or Chicken schnitzel with potatoes, and a vegetable medley at $20/plate.  Salad and dessert included.
